On our projects, we use our equipment to provide internet access by running fiber optic cable from an ISP(Internet Service Provider (we are contracted with Nemont Telephone Cooperation) to provide service to a home or business.

We are equipped to install underground electrical cable by the 3 most common ways (Burying Directly, Pulling Cable in Conduit, or Conducting a Total Conduit System). We have all the necessary equipment including pulling equipment, reels and rigging, Trenching equipment, lubricants, and experienced technicians to get the job done.

SRD uses Vermeer and Ditch Witch Directional Drills as an effective way to get utilities from one point to another underground without destroying the surface of the ground or existing obstacles. Using the directional drill makes it possible to pass under roadways, driveways, waterways, and wetlands safely.

Our machines cut a small slot in the surface of the ground and put conduit or cable in that slot in unison with the machine moving forward. It is a very effective way to get the job done with less impact and disruption to the ground. It also reduces the need to clean up after the job is completed. Furthermore, it makes the job easier if you are working with hard ground or rock.

We use this method to locate existing obstacles and facilities when completing a job. This is a successful process in helping to avoid hitting any gas lines or other cables already entrenched in the ground which, in turn, keeps our technicians safe.

We think this step is just as important as any other step. What the customer sees when we are done with a project is a viable aspect of a job well done. We always make sure that our crews are equipped to meet the requirements of the land or property owner.
